Stocks rose Tuesday as strong corporate earnings and easing tensions in the Middle East sent the S & P 500 and Dow Jones Industrial Average to all-time intraday highs. Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent said in an interview on CNBC’s ” Squawk Box ” that the United States is in talks with Iran and that a deal to reopen the Strait of Hormuz could come “today or tomorrow.” Oil prices fell on the comments, with West Texas Intermediate crude dropping to roughly $76 a barrel. Artificial intelligence and data center stocks also extended their recent rally, helped by reports the Trump administration is considering a new ban on Chinese robots and power inverters . Jim said Club holding Intel is “finally flying” and is still his favorite way to play the AI trade. 2. Shares of Club name Boeing were on track for their highest close since May 13 after three positive developments reinforced the company’s turnaround story. First, falling oil prices improved sentiment toward airlines by easing concerns about fuel costs and aircraft demand. BNP Paribas also double-upgraded Boeing to outperform after maintaining a bearish rating on the stock since November 2025, citing improving fundamentals. Finally, the Federal Aviation Administration certified the long-delayed 737 Max 7, marking another milestone in CEO Kelly Ortberg’s effort to restore production and execution. Jim said the developments reinforce his confidence that Boeing’s recovery is taking hold. “I really believe in Kelly Ortberg,” he said. 3. Microsoft was on track for a fifth straight day of gains, while Amazon slipped 2.5% after founder Jeff Bezos disclosed plans to sell roughly $4 billion worth of stock following the company’s powerful post-earnings rally. Club holdings Microsoft and Amazon have surged 27% and 17%, respectively, since they each reported earnings last week, as both companies convinced investors that their massive AI investments are beginning to generate meaningful returns . Although we are still bullish on the stocks for the long term, Jim questioned whether it’s time to take some profits since they have gone parabolic. 4.
