We might have just come into February of 2025 but the usual schedule for the big tech events are already making their way. Google I/O 2025 is one of the awaited events in the year and now we know when the latest edition will happen. Google I/O 2025 is likely to be once again featured around AI as most of the industry is focused on these days but we might also see the new Android version get its own platform and possibly a few surprises.
Google I/O 2025 Dates, Timings And More
Google I/O 2025 is lined up for May 20 and May 21 this year and the live keynote from company’s CEO Sundar Pichai should happen on day one at around 10:00 AM PT or 10:30 PM IST for those in India. Google has confirmed that I/O 2025 will be open to everyone online, and the sessions will also be live streamed across its YouTube channels.
Google I/O 2025 Event: What Can We Expect
Google I/O 2025 is once again going to highlight the new and upcoming features for Android users. The I/O 2025 visual teaser clearly shows the main products in focus for the company. You can see the Android icon which means the new 16 version will be confirmed and its features will be showcased. We have usually seen Google bring the new Pixel a model or tablet to these events but this year could be different.
Google will also have its Cloud features on display and yes, Gemini will obviously be part of the 2-hour long event later this year. We’ll be waiting for the full event schedule to come out which will tell us what Google is exactly planning to announce for its users this year. The Android 16 beta release is already available for developers and Google has confirmed that the public version this year will be much earlier than ever before.
