We’re just a few hours away from the big 2025 Apple event on Wednesday where we could see a new iPhone model announced. Most of the details about the upcoming iPhone SE 4 model have been sourced through rumours and leaks, nothing from the horse’s mouth so far. On the launch day itself we are now getting hints that the supposed iPhone SE 4 could actually be rebranded as iPhone 16E in the market for buyers, which makes it a new member of the iPhone 16 family.
iPhone SE 4 Price In India: Why It Matters
Apple launched the AI features last year but these are limited to the 15 Pro and higher models. This means the iPhone 14, 15 or even the 15 Plus cannot run these tools. Yes, you get them with all the iPhone 16 series models but these are costly. The last iPhone SE model was available in India for under Rs 45,000 and was seen by many as an expensive option in a crowded space.
However, things could change dramatically with the iPhone SE 4 this year if Apple does manage to pack it with the latest hardware and bring AI features to this model. Bringing this within a price tag of Rs 55,000 could make it a sure-shot winner in markets like India.
Even today, you will see big demand for the older iPhone 13, 14 and 15 models in the country when the special online offers are available. Now, imagine the same demand for a new iPhone model that has the modern appeal, gets the latest features and still does not cost as much as the premium buddies in the lineup.
The details that we have got about the iPhone SE 4 or 16E do sound too good to be true but we are hoping that for once Apple is able to fulfill these demands of the buyers.
