Nothing Phone 3a launch is one month away and the pre-launch hype has well and truly kicked into gear with new details.
The new Phone 3a teaser suggests a new button is coming this year.
Nothing is launching its new Phone models next month and we also know the launch date for the new phone series. Now the company has started with its usual pre-launch hype and teasers and the latest one shows us a possible physical button which could mimic the iPhone 16 like camera control that was announced by Apple last year.
The new button could eventually prove to be something else altogether but the way the visual from Nothing shows the rumoured feature, it is likely that the company is following Apple and Oppo to bring this tool.
Nothing Phone 3a Features: The Mystery Button
The new teaser shows this button placed below the power button which is how Apple has offered the camera control button on the iPhone 16 series models. Nothing CEO Carl Pei sees Apple as one of his motivations while making new devices and he probably sees value in bringing the camera button to the Phone 3a series this year.
It is quite possible that the button is customisable like the action button on the iPhones and lets you access varied AI features or even the torch. We’ll surely get more hints about this and more in the coming weeks.
The Phone 3a series will be launching on March 3 at 3:30 PM IST if you are watching the event in India. The new models will succeed the Phone 2a models that came last year with the Phone 2a and the Phone 2a Plus versions. It is quite possible that Nothing will continue the same variants with the Phone 3a series this year but we’ll know more about it in the coming weeks.
The company is rumoured to be going with Qualcomm and MediaTek chipsets for the Phone 3a models this year. The phone is expected to run Nothing OS, which is based on Android 15.
