With the highly anticipated launch of the Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge just months away, speculation surrounding the device is gaining momentum. Following earlier reports about its updated thickness, a newly leak has come out this week which shares detailed features about the new Galaxy S25 phone and the rumoured screen size.
Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge: What To Expect
Since it was previewed at the Galaxy Unpacked 2025 event, the Galaxy S25 Edge has grabbed a lot of attention. Samsung gave us a sneak peek of it upcoming ultra-thin smartphone design at the event without sharing the features of the device.
But as we count down to the release of the new Edge phone, the leaks are getting in-depth and giving us more information on the possible features. Recently, a tipster known as PandaFlashPro shared a post on X where he shares the key specifications of the highly anticipated device.
Similar to the Galaxy S25 Ultra, the tipster pointed out that the Galaxy S25 Edge is anticipated to have a 200MP primary camera and a 12MP front camera. You could also have a secondary ultra-wide-angle lens at the back. The smartphone is likely to get a 120Hz refresh rate screen with a maximum brightness of 2600 nits and Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection. It should feature an aluminium frame to compliment its slim dimensions.
The tipster also says the Galaxy S25 Edge might have a smaller vapour chamber and 12GB of RAM. Finally, he asserted that the smartphone might have an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor beneath the touchscreen and Wi-Fi 7 along with a 3,900mAh battery which could become an issue.
While the leaked specifications paint an exciting picture, Samsung’s official plans for the Galaxy S25 Edge remain under wraps. With competition heating up and the rumoured iPhone 17 Air expected later this year, all eyes are on the official launch in April 2025 to see how Samsung manages to compete with its slim addition.
