Samsung announced the new One UI 7 version with the Galaxy S25 series last month but the older devices are still waiting for their update.

The existing Samsung users might have to wait a little longer for the new One UI version
The One UI 7 stable update that Samsung users have been eagerly awaiting may take a bit longer to arrive. Although Samsung debuted One UI 7 with the Galaxy S25 series, it is unclear when the older models, such as the Galaxy S24 and S23 will get the update. The brand did tease February 7 as the release date at the Unpacked event, but recent discussions reportedly with Samsung Support indicate that this is not the case.
There is currently no official release date, according to a Samsung Support executive, which raises concerns about potential delays. The One UI 7 Beta program is still open, but it is no longer admitting new members, suggesting that Samsung is taking its time perfecting the software before releasing it to the general public.
According to a Sammy Fans tip, Samsung Support in the US is unsure about the distribution of One UI 7. The response from the team has been evasive. The spokesperson only said, “We don’t have a specific date,” when questioned about a release schedule, adding that they were unable to make any educated guesses.
Given that the upgrade isn’t ready for a stable release yet, Samsung may be avoiding needless hype which might irk the users even more.
Reports indicate that Samsung will concurrently deploy the One UI 7 upgrade for beta and non-beta users, despite the uncertainties. The upgrade is anticipated to be released first for the Galaxy S24 series, with the Galaxy S23 lineup and other flagship handsets to follow shortly after. Although the deployment is scheduled for February, a larger expansion is probably in the works for March this year.
