Projection technology is quickly being favored by consumers who take their home entertainment experiences seriously but often has a high price tag, so the Optoma Photon Go is arriving to offer a decidedly accessibly alternative. The projector is engineered with an ultra-short throw (UST) functionality that utilizes a DuraCore RGB triple laser light to deliver exceptionally vibrant colors, visuals and contrast. The unit is rated to throw images at 1080p resolution at sizes up to 100-inches with only 10-inches required for clearance from the screen or wall.
The Optoma Photon Go has a built-in battery pack to support up to 1.5-hours of use per charge and can be recharged via a USB-C connection. The projector will make its debut in Europe in April for €999.
