Just Vertical and NuLeaf Farms have formed a strategic partnership to address food insecurity by deploying advanced indoor farming solutions across North America. This collaboration combines Just Vertical’s expertise in vertical hydroponic systems with NuLeaf’s smart automation and IoT technology. The result is efficient and climate-resilient farms that are capable of operating in extreme conditions.
The advanced indoor farming solutions provided by Just Vertical and NuLeaf Farms have the potential of delivering year-round access to fresh, pesticide-free produce in urban and rural areas, including regions where traditional farming is challenging. Key initiatives of this collaboration include integrating IoT for automated nutrient delivery and climate control, as well as sharing knowledge to innovate and optimize indoor farming practices. A pilot project is already underway at the Red Deer Food Bank in Alberta.
