The Casio G-Shock Coexist Collection is a new lineup of rugged timepieces designed with sustainability at the forefront. The collection features watches crafted using recycled materials, including food waste and natural dyes sourced from the TRUECOTTON and FOOD TEXTILE projects. The straps are made from organic cotton dyed with natural colors, such as khaki gray and coffee, while the bezel is constructed from bio-based resin produced from renewable organic resources. This focus on eco-friendly materials aims to reduce environmental impact and promote a more sustainable lifestyle.
In addition to their sustainable materials, the Coexist Collection retains the durability and functionality that G-Shock watches are known for. The watches offer features such as shock resistance, water resistance up to 20 bars, solar-powered functionality, and smartphone connectivity. The collection includes models like the GAB2100CT-5A, which combines the ruggedness of the G-Shock 2100 series with eco-conscious design elements. This initiative by Casio highlights the brand’s commitment to combining sustainability with high-performance timepieces.
