Parent-Friendly Workout Plans : exercises for parents.



In response to research that found 71% of parents struggle to find time for exercise, clothing retailer Matalan teamed up with celebrity fitness coach Mr Motivator to create the Daily Dozen exercises for parents.

Although it might seem like a challenge to get in a stretch while preparing meals or a few reps between loads of laundry, the Daily Dozen repositions these as prime time for parents to get in a little activity. The exercises make the most of household goods like water bottles for bicep curls, laundry baskets for rows, and dining chairs for squats.

These 12 simple exercises were made to be done regularly at home, and they’re approachable enough so that they can suit nearly everybody.
