Bobby Vylan to face no further action over IDF ‘death’ chant
BBC News
Punk rapper Bobby Vylan will face no further action from the Met Police for chanting “death, death to the IDF (Israel Defense Forces)” at an Al Quds Day demonstration in central London.
The force said it had investigated chants made by the performer on 15 March at a static rally held on the Albert Embankment.
A Met Police spokesperson said they looked into the language used, adding they “recognised the concerns caused, particularly among London’s Jewish communities”.
The artist, whose real name is Pascal Robinson-Foster, performs as one half of the duo Bob Vylan.
