Sinkhole appears outside Malibu home thought to belong to Nicolas Cage

Aerial footage shows a massive sinkhole in front of a house in Malibu, California, reportedly belonging to US actor Nicolas Cage.

The actor bought the home in 2024, according to a report in the New York Times.

The driveway of the beachfront house collapsed on Tuesday morning, according to local authorities.

In a written statement, the City of Malibu said it ordered the evacuation of the houses in the street and set up a temporary shelter for evacuees.
