Tim Westwood charged with two more sexual offences

Former BBC Radio 1 and Capital Xtra DJ Tim Westwood has been charged with two more offences, the Metropolitan Police has said.

The charges are an alleged indecent assault against a teenage girl aged 16 to 17 in Hammersmith and Fulham in 1991 and the alleged sexual assault of an 18-year-old woman in Wandsworth in 2004.

These charges are in addition to those brought against Westwood in October 2025 relating to seven women, which include four counts of rape.

Westwood has previously denied multiple sex offences including rape and sexual assault and pleaded not guilty to earlier charges last December.
